As a founding partner of the firm, Mr. Anderson helped shape ACG into the firm it is today. Though he has stepped aside for others, he continues to provide the ACG team guidance and support as the need arises.
Bill Anderson’s passion was in finding solutions to complex design problems that not only solve the problem but meet the needs of the client and their budget. He strongly feels that you must always keep the needs of the client in mind no matter what design decision is made. This idea—by its very nature—results in successful projects.
With a career that spanned from being an officer in the Army Corp of Engineers, to working along side one of the most prolific D.C. architects during his early career, Bill has an almost encyclopedic knowledge of D.C. architecture. As a founding principal, his proven formula for success has been a boon for ACG since its inception, and we are happy for Bill as he departs ACG to spend more time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Bill undertook his undergraduate studies in architecture at the University of Oklahoma and holds a Master of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
